Tom believes building and maintaining strong relationships are key components of a successful partnership. “It is important that I invest time in my clients and really get to know each one as a person. Only then can I truly help them.” Driven by discipline, Tom is passionate about taking client service to the next level. “Not much stops me,” he says. “I do what it takes to get the job done.”
Tom’s practice areas include commercial litigation, municipal law and city government, banking and financial institutions, creditors’ rights, and international law. His representative clients include builders and developers, financial institutions, and individuals and corporations in various litigation matters in state and federal court, and the Town of Carefree, Arizona. He also served as Research Assistant to Professor Boris Kozolchyzk for the revision of Treatise on International Letters of Credit.
Active in the community, Tom is past chair of the International Law Section of the State Bar of Arizona and past president of the Scottsdale Bar Association. He is a member of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association and Arizona Association of Defense Counsel. His community service activities include serving as an elected Town Council member for the Town of Carefree, Arizona and as a member of the Parish Council and other committees for his local church. He also is presently Town Attorney for Carefree, Arizona.
Enthusiastic about traveling, Tom admits he has a bit of “wanderlust.” When he is not working, he can be found leading mountain biking tours through France, riding with his cycling club, piloting his plane, or exploring other countries. He also enjoys working out and spending time with his three children.
